To pursue holistic and interdisciplinary approaches that promotes environmentally friendly, healthy and planned environments to uplift the socio-economic situation of the people in the present and future generations. 


Prosperous people (men, women, youth and children) in healthy and green environments.


Targeted projects as per our strategic plan for 2006 – 2011 include:

Environmental protection and sustainable human settlement project Promoting equity in service delivery for ethnic minorities project HIV/AIDS, Malaria and TB project Community Empowerment through Free, Prior and Informed Consent in the National Oil and Gas Policy Development project Information, Education and Communication (IEC) on Oil for Development Fisheries Resource Centre Project  


  • To initiate and creatively communicate interdisciplinary and holistic approaches for environmental concerns;
  • To promote sustainable development strategies – underscoring population, health, housing, livelihood and education and in balance with environmental protection, promote judicious and equitable use of natural resources and preservation of indigenous cultural heritage;
  • To bridge and network global concerns and institutions for local action in the Uganda setting; and
  • To raise awareness in securing and restoring a clean, healthy, orderly and peaceful environment for us and our future generations.
